Swim Lessons

Our mission is to provide swim programs that develop swim abilities in a positive, safe and fun environment. We do this through our competitive swim team the Foxcroft Fins and private swim lessons. Sportsmanship, fellowship and enhancing swim skills are fostered through our competitive swim team & swim lessons.

Swim Lessons are provided throughout the summer by our Swim Team Coaches and Lifeguards.

Swim Team Coaches

Private swim lessons are $25 per half hour. To schedule a swim lesson, you may ask the head swim coach Kate Knight before or after (but please not during) swim team practice, or, you can email her directly at KateKnight24@gmail.com.  Kate has been a Foxcroft Fin since she was 4 years old; she swam competitively for many years until a recent shoulder injury sidelined her; and she graduated from Myers Park High School and is now attending Wake Forest University. She can give lessons during regular pool hours in all of the strokes: freestyle, butterfly, backstroke and breastroke. Or if your child has developed a relationship with one of the assistant coaches, Kate can make also arrangements for  you with one of the assistant coaches.

SCMG Swim Lessons
Swim Club Management Group offers a Learn-to-Swim program with lifeguards that have completed the SCMG Swim Instructor Training Course lead by a Water Safety Instructor. This year we will be offering private and semi-private lessons. The first of seven sessions begins on June 8th.  The link below will direct you to the SCMG session and registration information.
