Cardio Tennis is a high energy fitness activity that combines the best features of the sport of tennis with cardiovascular exercise, delivering the ultimate, full body, calorie burning aerobic workout. Cardio Tennis is similar to interval training which is periods of high intensity followed by short periods of rest. Classes are geared towards keeping players in their target heart-rate zone so they can burn the most calories and get the best workout possible during each hour long session.
Classes, taught by Lourdes Pino, will be offered Tuesday and Friday mornings from 8:30-9:30am. Registration is required. Each class is limited to 6 players.
